Fate/Stay Kurokami

Can you smellll the uncanny resemblances between FSN and Kurokami?

Fate/Stay Night. Contract Seal.
Kurokami. A more complicated-looking contract seal.
Fate/Stay Night. Gorey chest wound.
Kurokami. Less gorey chest wound.
Fate/Stay Night. ?? Runic markings on the ground.
Kurokami: ?? Runic markings on the ground.

There are some other scenes which remind me of FSN. Like the part in Kurokami where kuro and the d00d got pwnt by the old man with Exceed (?) versus in FSN where Saber and Shirou got pwnt by Gilgamesh.

Then there's this spastic scene where the d00d gives an bloody-epic-melodramatic-warcry (I mean, check out those rainbow beams behind him) which does totally nothing to the battle. He sort of saw his seal shining then he started shouting for no reason.

Is he going Trans-Am?

Oh gosh, and the animation of Kurokami seems as if it was on a really really really really tight budget. Most people watch fighting animes for the battle scenes, do they? The quality of the fighting scene reminds me of crap which I avoided watching on Kids Central last time, especially Pokemon.

Kurokami's a horrible disappointment, although the plot element regarding doppeliners/doppelgangers is rather interesting and novel.
