Someone told me earlier, "time is a really sad concept".

When I read it I literally paused.

It has been such a long time since I felt so impacted by such a small statement.

I agree.

How sad it is to realise that we only have 2 years to laugh harmlessly and happily as ignorant little schoolkids, without any worries about our lives?

Yet how heartening is it to realise that I have such great friends and classmates around me.

Hmmm how sad I realise it is, yet how happy it makes me feel.
